The Tzoumy dials

The dial colours of Tzoumy watches are inspired by my skiing and my hikes in the mountains. As a city dweller and mountain lover, I chose these dial colours with reference to the subtle nuances that nature offers between dawn and dusk to remind me of those good moments spent at altitude.

Colors obtained by electroplating, a process consisting of depositing a thin metallic layer by continuous electric current. The colors depend on the various elements that make up the bath and the duration of the process.

Denim Blue, the blue of glaciers

A blue inspired by the color of the seracs found in the heart of the glaciers whose color varies throughout the day according to the light, just like these dials whose blue varies according to its exposure to the sun’s rays. The sky of beautiful days conducive to outdoor activities.

Cobalt blue, the sky of high altitudes

A white that recalls the mystical atmosphere of the mountain when everything becomes white and the reliefs temporarily disappears. This fairy tale side of the mountain that isolates us from the outside world and is conducive to introspection.

Orange, the light of dawn and crepiuscule

An orange that evokes the sun at sunrise and sunset with this orange light that reflects in the clouds and gives these particular moods of dawn or dusk. These moments invite to reverie and contemplation.

Silver opalin, snow and clouds

Anthracite, the north faces of the Alps

A dark grey that lightens in the light, reminiscent of the dark tones of the mythical north faces of the Matterhorn or the Eiger. Close to black when it receives little light and approaching grey when exposed to light, just like concrete which, when wet, is close to black and becomes light grey when dry. A mineral colour with metallic reflections.

The sunburst finish of the dials

The sunray satin finish of the dials has been selected in reference to the sun that brings us happiness when its rays sublimate the magnificent Swiss landscape of lakes and mountains. This light changes the perception of the color shades throughout the day in the same way as on our dials.
